It has been awhile since my last update/introduction perhaps 5-6 years now and a lot has changed since.
this Livejournal actually has been with me for
11 years, imagine 11 years..... been that long. and so far I am still managing to keep up with it.
though soemtimes most of my posts has been my tweets-- I am more active in twitter as you can all predict.
However form time to time I do update my livejournal with photos about anything, mostly my fangirling stuff and perhaps life updates.
hence this post again will last as my top post for another 10 years and perhaps by that time
(if technology has not change much or LJ still exists) it will prompt me to write another introductory post and give another round of life updates.
F I R S T  ....
about myself.

I am still a nurse.
and will still probably be for god knows till when, perhaps when my body/back start giving up on me (which is already happening)
I have now relocated in England and been working here almost 5 years, next year I will hopefully become a resident (once they approved it).

for now, yes I am staying here longer.... I am earning more here and financially I need that.

S E C O N D ....
fangirl.
I am still a fangirl.
(did think to get a tattoo and just brand myself that I am forever a fangirl).
fangirling/enthusiast is definitely my hobby right now. and my broad range of interests has spread.
to be fair, I think this helped me know a lot of things cause I am a fangirl or perhaps generally curious about a lot of things. I mean the amount I spend on fangirling perhaps makes others wonder where is my life. and would say it is more than a hobby, which it could be ....

anyway yes a fangirl. a great hobby of mine that keeps me sane, awake at night, laughing, smiling and maybe where most of my salary goes to. (LOL)
also why perhaps I am still single.
it is just not JPOP but also, KPOP, k-beauty, thai actors/actress, BL actors, chinese actors/actresses, and sports.
I have loads of collection of japanese concert goods.
(mostly JE goods)
watched a few kpop concerts.
in tune with sports event and watched a few live ones.
following and watching attentively these korean, thai, BL, and chinese dramas.
(i got to admit watching a lenghty 60+ episode cdrama in two days, that's dedication)

aforementioned above, is my everyday life and what's making me sane and single.
it's a life choice, I am making. I mean if i get to meet a man that will be very understanding of my hobby his the man for me honestly.
but who knows perhaps when I meet that person things might change as well, we shall see.
but fangirling is definitely who I am more or else.

T H I R D ...
Johnny's Entertainment.
I am still a JE fan.
but a lot has changed.
my ichiban .... Arashi is on hiatus. a few older generations groups from JE has either disbanded or members left the agency and went solo.
in the years I have been a fan I think I have always been naive and thought that these memebers/groups will stick to one another and stay in Johnny's but of course that is not the case, in the last 5-6 years the dynamics of the agency has changed a lot.
there were a few changes I was speechless and could not believe myself  at all, but you know they have always wanted to spread their wings and be just more than a boy group member hence the decisions made.

SMAP- kimutaku only left, Nakai is very active as a host and the other members went independent with IIjima when she left the agency.
Kinki Kids- the duo group and still standing strong.
TOKIO- sort of disbanded and the memerbs left sort of amde their own sub agency management for themselves.
V6- just had their last concert this year, and somehow can be called disbanded as well.

Arashi- hiatus (?)
they are my ichiban and the main reason why I became a JE/jpop fan. there is that certain hope that they will come back and promote as a group such as concerts, variety shows, albums and etc. But if this hiatus would mean marriage and them settling them so be it. I shall be happy for them. 3 of the members are married, I am now waiting for Ohno-kun and hopefully next year MatsJun will announce. Him and Mao Inuoue ..... someone needs to push MJ to marry her, come on MatsuJun!
but i hope one day, they will still do a concert tour and release something, the pandemic spoiled their plan for anything global
.

Tackey & Tsubasa- duo group, disbanded
Tackey as you all know is now the JE vice president and Tsubasa has left the agency especially after his ear issues. I was hopinh he would still continue to his butai shows under JE as he was good at that, but sadly no. haven't had any update with him seems he has fully retired from the show bsuiness permanently.

NEWS- now 3 members and standing strong
tegoshi' leaving as much as he wanted his freedom, it was just disapointing how he left the group

Eito- 5 members and standing strong
subaru and ryo leaving was heartbreaking for me, this was one of my naive moments that I never expected it happening. when I read the news i was so shaken. I am following ryo's solo stuff as much as I can, i do see him often in Akanishi Jin's YT.

KATTUN- 3 members and standing strong
the temporay hiatus in 2017, was shocking deep inside I never really thought they will come back again as a group and felt that was it for them. good thing they did and aven came back stronger and now soaring higher.

Hey Say JUMP! - 8 members and hopefully willkeep it that way
Keito left the group recently and wanted to focus on his acting career, I mean when left for New York to study I knew that was it for him and he may never come back. I was though somehow hopeful as his dad is still with JE that perhaps he will go back to HSJ as originally planned, well that was not what happen hence 8 members. They are my niiban group adn I am happy they are having so many individual activities and is soaring higher and getting recognized. I pray for them to even be more recognized and perhaps make their wish come true to be a national japanese boyband like Arashi.

Kisumai- intact original members
they look happy and contented so I hope they keep that way, would really be devastated if someone leaves as they have worked so hard and sacrificed a lot to be where they are now.

Sexy Zone- 4/5 members
with all the anxiety issue Matsushima was off for awhile but glad to see him back and looking like staying. Marius is off to study, his in college now and i think he has 1-2 years left from it where I hope he does comeback, I really wsh for him to comeback. But this group is getting stronger and slowly having more recognition, they ahve grown as well, more charismatic and sexy FumaKen they have become such a delightful ikemen. Shori's visuals as he grows older and older is even more sensational, he is handsome (AF)

ABC-Z- intact members and looking strong

Johnny's West- intact and looking strong
I really hope they get more of what they deserve, they are funny and good in variety and equally has a lot of talents to show. but they are looking strong and seems to stick together for a long while .....

King & Prince- 5 members
when they debuted before other JE juniors was shocking to me, I was rooting for someone else to debut before them. but somehow it was a good decision, they are selling and getting those recognitions. their visuals are no joke, they are good looking and the airheadedness of some memerbs is damn funny as well. was sad that Genki did not managed to make a comeback and decided to leave, I have a soft spot on hime when he was a junior.

6tones- 6 members
I was heavily rooting for them to debut before KinPuri, I kenw the members from their junior days and was really hoping they can debut and be recognized, they are also funny, talaktive and talented. their individual talents makes up how diverse they can be. slowly they are getting the recognition and the JE sempai also noticed how noisy and talkative they can be. by far the releases thay have had has a lort of collaboration from international choreos and songwriters, seems JE is spreading their network. going two years now for their group but felt like they have debuted 5 years ago....

Snowman- 9 members
still intact and going strong. slowly having these individual activities where it helps for them to get recognized. I still think they need to tame Raul he may go astray if left with so many attention, and have that stardom issues. Meguro's acting in BL shocked me but you know it was good and selling well for their group.

Naniwa Danshi- 7 members
another kansai juniors that debuted, Ohkura from eito is producing this group when they were juniors which I reckoned why they debuted. I do knos some members have been with the agency for while but they were not my first choice to debut.

Nakayama Yuma- solo
it has been awhile since I have seen, I know he is doing theatres this year but I have not seen him in any movies/dramas at all for awhile.,He is such a good actor and I really hope he gets those breakthrough dramas where he can be recognized and perhaps be hired more.

Ikuta Toma
he is married and expecting, I am happy for him as he finally settled down and hope he shall influence MatsuJun (HAHA)

Hiroki Uchi
more solos butai/theatres shows as far as I am aware.

4u
has graduated being a junior but still under JE and is having more group activities heck they even have social media account/s i think, I know they did some live streaming soemtime ago. I always remember the junior group who backdances the sempais.

they are still a few solo acts that I have not mentioned I know there have been a few graduation from Juniors and now having more solo actor/butai jobs. not really updated of this hence I shall not talk. but I am happy for those who have stayed with the agency adn doing this solo jobs. JE have had their shortcomings and is never perfect but I am happy fort those who have stayed so far.

F O U R T H ....
JE Juniors.
I still a Travis Japan fan.
to be fair, i barely know the JE juniors now, I have not really been following them as much as I used to and perhaps the one left that I am so familiar with is Traja hence I am being biased and want to make them debut hopefully next year. I am hearing Bi Shounen is most likely to as is being produced by MatsuJun, i do hope they won't they get that advantage just like Naniwa Danshi had, if thats' the case I probably won't fangirl MJ for ahwile, (evil laughs)
come one JE let TraJa debut first, give them that break next year and let Japan adnd the world know what they can do to dancing.
anyhow, the TraJa now has a few new members and some of the OGs have left hence I wanted them to debut to prevent anyone leaving.

a lot from the juniors have already left, probably the most shocking but not too suprising was the 7order group
they used to be juniors under the name Love Tune, was like a band/dance group.
members are:
shocking because I though they will hold out and perhaps stay, they were making noises as a JE junior and perhaps if they stayed longer they will also hve that YT channel for juniors just like how 6tones and snowman started.
most of the members are the OGs of the JE juniors and i know and follow them, rumours has it the OGs were the ones who actually encouraged leaving as a group and make their name somewhere else (made me sad), which they did hence the 7order. not surprising because they are making waves out there so perhaps a good decision for them. its that naive-ness of me as a fangirl to see them debut under JE and promote as a artists there.

other than them, I do not know other JE juniors that are currently active, hard to follow as there has been less translators now in the fandom and the active ones are the young ones already.
those that I now are either still with the agency, others may have left and hopefully enjoying their lives.

F I F T H ....
the others.
I am still a fan.
as aforementioned above aside from JE I am fan also of JPOP fan
the LDH family: EXILE, JSB sandaime, Generations, the Rampage

a Kpop fan.
I mean we are now in the 4th generation of kpop groups and its getting harder to follow all of them but I am trying.
perhaps next year the we shall be entering the 5th genrations idols already, I am losing track.

2nd generation: Bigbang, TVXQ, Super Junior, 2PM, 2AM, Highlight (b2st), Infinite, 2ne1, Kara, Wonder Girls, SNSD, Brown Eyed Girls, FT Island, Shinee, U-Kiss, 4Minute, CNBlue, f(x), MBLAQ, T-ara, SS501, Sistar.
3rd generation: EXO, Blackpink, BTS, Twice, Red Velvet, iKon, GOT7, Seventeen, NUEST, Winner, MonstaX, NCT, Mamammo, BtoB, EXID, Day6, CLC, N.Flying, Pentagon, SF9, KARD, Wanna One.
4th generation: Treasure, Stray Kids, Itzy, Ateez, Aespa, (G)-Idle, Everglow, AB6IX, SuperM.

Thai/BL
during 2019, on a very bored day whilst finding something to watch I came across a thai drama in YT Boy for Rent and was so hooked into it since that I looked for more thai dramas to watch and came across in netflix SOTUS and got into BL as well.
I mean a know Mario Maurer a quite famous that actor but never really watch more thai dramas or followed him either.
But after this encounter I have been into thai and BL dramas, and have watched a few of them already especially the ones gmmtv releases. I follow their YT and watch the dramas they release from there especially the ones I am a fan of.
for BL they are a few production companies that makes them and releases in YT, Line TV, or WeTV and follow from there.

for BL, SOTUS has been my ultimate favourite but now it has been archived and The Bad Buddy Series is now my new ULTIMATE favorite, a definite GOLD STANDARD fro BL romance, relationship and chemistry.
I also have some BL couples I follow, they don't always have a projecy together but the ones they were in I have watched and one of my favourites:
KristSingto, TayNew, OffGun, BrighWin, OhmNanon

I have got a few actors I like, but the biggest channel of thailand that produces thai dramas don't really release it in YT nor are there subbers who subbed them so I am usually late in following the latest, whatever is eng subbed and released are the ones I can watch. the ones from netflix aside from the thriller/horror ones i might have watched most of them.

Chinese Dramas
there have been a lot of them released in various platforms and for the days that I don't have anything I stumble upon them and watch them till the end. chinese dramas though are lenghty and has a lot episodes, rarely you will find a 24 episodes ones, that has a good stroy, production, and good actors. most of them are at least 30+ and perhaps in the middle I decide to drop them and watching something else. its a love/hate relationship. but they are a few that I managed to stick and watched till the end.

I prefer their traditional dramas with all the different dynasties I think how they expressed the romance and skinsip hits me and makes me giggle more. I have got a few favourites:
The Story of Minglan (watch it thrice now), The Rebel Princess (watched it four times), The Rise of Phoenixes (Cheng Kun sensational), The Long Ballad (DIlireba !!!)

I also like republican era drama, its not accurate to what happen durng republican but I like the romance so much: Fall in Love, the actor is amazing.
perhaps this year my ULTIMATE favourite where I cried so much is:
One and Only & Forever and Ever, they are a sequel drama and Ren Jialun is spectacular here, he made me giggle and cry.

Sports
just finished Tokyo Summer Olympics where I vigorously follow and suscribe to be able to watch games live and next year will be the Winter Olympics where I will also try to watch them live, double curling and ice skating will be fun.
I am still a football and basketball fan, I might have spread my interest and follow a lot of the asian leagues.
rugby, where I managed to watch New Zealand All Blacks play live.
swimming, badminton, gymnastics, diving, fencing, volleyball, baseball.
somehow despite neing in England I have stoped watching Champions League, Bundesliga and La Liga and not follow them as much as I used to. I think it has something to do with the changes that have been happening that amde me lose interest, I am still a fan though just not following as I used to.

L A S T L Y ....
barriers.
over the years there has been less and less subbers out there and due also to the restrictions and some fans not respecting others jobs they have stopped the some of the subbing communites which impactes perhaps my fangirling. since I don't understand Japanese and heavily rely on the subbers my fangirling alsi rely to them I think there was like two years where I stopped following jpop cause there was no subbed vidoes and it was difficult for me to understand.

I keep saying to myself to learn Japanese but somehow I always have a reason why I can't. I miss those glory days of subebd videos and us fans have a starter pack to download or watch them.

also the fandom ahs had many changes both jpop and kpop and being an OGs i can't keep up with the trend. or I not liking the trend. however we gotta move on and join the changing club.
this has been such a lengthy post. can't imagine i sat through that.
anyway for myself to remind, I am doing this after a very busy 8-hour shift and started at 2 AM, and time check its now 7 AM---- WOW! this is 5-hours in the making introduction post, indeed this is very long.
I am surprised I managed to gather my thoughts and finished this, I apologise for some grammar erros, no time to prood read, its daylight and I need to rest.
